1. Who we are

This website is run by More Padel Please. We are the controller of the personal information we collect through this website. Contact us about privacy at hello@morepadelplease.com. The operator is: More Padel Please is a trading name of Magic Garden Products Ltd, company 15366481, VAT GB 458 5236 67. Our registered office is given at the end of this policy.

2. What information we collect

When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give one), the items you order and your order history.
Payment: payments are handled by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.
When you contact us: your email address and whatever you tell us in your message.
When you browse: technical information such as your device, browser, IP address and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To take, process, deliver and refund your orders and to look after you if something goes wrong. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
To keep records for tax and accounting. Legal basis: legal obligation.
To prevent fraud and keep our website secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
To reply to your questions and complaints. Legal basis: our legitimate interests, and performing our contract with you.
To send you marketing emails, only if you have opted in. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts our online shop and processes orders, payments, and customer and order records for us.
Printful, our print and fulfilment partner for tees, mugs and caps. When you order one of these items we send Printful your name, delivery address, email address, phone number (if given) and order details so that it can make and ship your order. Printful acts as a processor for us in doing this, and it uses the information only to fulfil the order and meet its legal obligations. Printful may handle information outside the UK; see section 6.
Delivery carriers and payment providers, so that your parcel reaches you and your payment is taken.
Professional advisers, accountants and authorities, where we need to or the law requires.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and accounting records for 6 years, as UK tax rules require. We keep customer service messages for as long as needed to deal with your query and a reasonable time afterwards. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Transfers outside the UK

We deliver worldwide, and Shopify and Printful operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, we expect these providers to use approved safeguards for the transfer, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

7. Cookies

Our shop uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential. They are set by Shopify to make the shop work: to remember your cart, to keep checkout secure and to prevent fraud. These do not need your consent. Others are analytics and marketing cookies (for example, to understand how the shop is used and to show you relevant ads). When you first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you accept these. We only use analytics and marketing cookies if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings on the site, where shown. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the shop may not work properly without the essential ones.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and in some cases move it to another service. You can withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@morepadelplease.com. We will reply within one month.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
